The ban is a definete step forward and whatever arguments are put forward at the end of the day thousands of lives will be saved by this legislation, well done M.P.s! I have very nearly stopped visitng pubs due to stinking of second hand fags, even more important is being able to go to work without some idiot smoking over you all day. I
Nearer to home provence springs to mind especially around the spectaculur Grand canyon de Verdon, the sentier martell path that descends and then follows the canyon is fantastic and needs no special equipment just a reasonable head for heights and a torch. Cicerone produce a guide(of course!) "walking in provence",its a beautiful area.
I have used Eurocamp once before for a visit to the french alps staying at la serraz at the southern end of lake Annecy, the site, mobile home (monaco deluxe) and eurocamp couriers were excellent. During my travels in my motorhome i also stayed at camping europa which i wouldn,t recommend, pitches were even smaller than la serraz with little privacy or seperation. Its a lovely area to visit,Annecy old quarter and market are worth a visit and of course youre only a little over an hour from Chamonix. As for the low countries wasseneer(sp) is excellent fun if you like a lively site or camping birkelt at Larochette,Luxembourge or Fussekeller near Hascenheid (lux) are very good. Have fun.
Back to feedback on the july supermeet,I had a lovely time and what about that weather!Ive been offline for ages, 3year olds, orange squash and computers dont mix! Met some nice peops (thanks for the strawberries, beer and advice to buy superfeet jon) and would make an effort to attend another one but being a hill starved southerner would probably spend nearly all my time walking again.
