Greys are vermin, non-indegenous species, I'd be fined if seen releasing him - I'm calling him Trevor for the moment, after M. Rentokil. The Ranger will call Rentokil to make sure the trap is emptied.

A ground floor neighbour has heard scrabbling in the outer wall which is presumably cavity wal.

Yes CP, the leaseholder has finally decided to look at the plans of the property since pinning the problem on someone else didn't work

Not my doing Alexander, This is Rentokil's trap. No, it is a big grey - and therefor for the chop as he can't be released according to the ranger.

OK, the saga continues. Rentokil Man (Trevor) contacted the leaseholder to say he'd seen no evidence of squirrels. The leaseholder also now thought they didn't own the land the offending trees were on. They were trying to contact the owner.

Oh great! I'm hallucinating and the squirrels way in may stay....

But, this morning Trevor has scored and caught a squirrel

 The leaseholder has been told that they might, in fact own the land and be able to cut the trees back. A Ranger sent by the leaseholder has seen the squirrel in the trap so my case looks better again

I'll have to go and get it out of the roof Alexander, won't be today now. Maybe Tuesday, thanks.

@James, NO! That idea has been vetoed by the Buddhist league...

@Alexander - do you do housecalls?

@James - thanks, I may well do.
