If using unlined trail runners having a pair of Waterproof socks such as those from Rocky Goretex and a spare pair of dry socks can be good backup plan if your feet get too wet or cold.

I use two different pairs of Sole Heat mouldable insoles depending on what footwear and socks I am using and I am very happy with them.

I did look in to getting an inner for mine but as Stonehumpyhippyb says that adds weight and cost, from April to October I just use a Tarp Tent Stratosphire 1.

I was lucky enough to get a never Trailstar used second hand on the cheap.

I used one on a winter trip recently and was fairly impressed with it, as I was pitched on 3 foot of snow I was able to dig down to make a seated area.

I did cheat and use my snow shoes as anchors
