"Take my hat off to you Husky re keeping walking through the pain in your knees".
It's more that I don't care, I'll keep on going until I physically can't. I've learnt ways to 'block' the pain, not just by using PK's, when I can't, I just keep going anyway.
It's either continue or "slob" out, which is just not in my nature. Basically the reason I got a dug in the first place, it would need walked. Though I do seem to have always gotten dugs that a more "active" than most........
If I "slob" around, my knees hurt more than if I get a wee bit of exercise wi dugs. SSCSODMM, does take the 'biscwit', she would be more active than even the Huskys..................
Evening, cloudy and sunny spells today, 10c, but wee breeze made it feel about 4c.
Was near freezing last night 0.8c, glad I had a 'fur' coat on.......
"You must be super fit with all the walking you do Husky"
I wish......... not even close to as fit as I was 10yrs ago.............. Arthritic knees, very strong painkillers, steroid injections and 'mind over matter'..... (Put pain to back of my tiny mind, then it doesn't matter).
My Orthopaedic Surgeon told me to keep as "mobile as possible". The longer I can keep going, (even though morphine/ tramadol doesn't entirely 'kill' the pain), the longer it is before I will need knee replacement surgery.
Given that I'm a 'bloody minded wee sh1t", I'll keep doing what I like, (walking), until I can't physically do so any more.
