A partial solution would be the  erection of ' no overnight parking '  signs but is this just going to force motorists to drive  fully off the road and park,  as they are legally allowed to do so   ?
Motorists have no right to take their car off the road as they are then on private land and to do so would need the permission of the landowner.

I didn't do it this year, but I can tell you that there is no way of predicting the 2010 levels. As I described above, Scottish Hydro simlply drain it down until a certain date and then start topping it up again. Best bet would be to wait until Sept next year and try to find a friendly local or a passing OMer to let you know. The staff at the Tomdoun Hotel are very friendly and might also be able to provide some "on the spot" advice.
