Going there is November, you have to use the walkway to access most of the routes in the gorge now that you're not allowed to go through the railway tunnel. I understand it gets a grade 1 sports route (i.e. not very hard!).

Yeah, bought a pair some time after posting the message.

Nice and comfy, but after walking around on Skye they started to leak a little and have got progressively worse...

Huddersfield University Mountaineering Society have the honour of holding the BMC Hill Walking Essentials Lecture in February!

The lecture will be held at the University of Huddersfield in CW/10 (Canal Side West Building) starting at 19:30.

Tickets are £7 per person. Discounted price of £5 for BMC members.

If anyone finds a Nikon Coolpix 7600 in the Lowe Pro carry case around Cosmic Buttress or on the path back to the A57 it might well be mine... think I lost it on Sunday 14th October

Would be eternally grateful to whoever can return it.
