Dave. very glad too that we carried on even though it feels like little gnomes with large hammers have been bashing the bottom of my feet!! Thanks for your company it would have been much more miserable without you and i apologise for the whinging and whining around the Blencathra area. If you want a lift to Langdale email me at amandahooke@yahoo.co.uk.

Same again from me. I exceeded my usual 50 time by 11 1/2 hours

which shows just how difficult the terrain and the darkness make it. Brilliant support from the checkpoints and encouragement to go on when i was being a wimp and wanting to pack it all in at Blencathra. Big thankyou to Dave without whom i would have struggled big time. Hope everyone will be back next year for another go!

Not a very good Cumbrian turnout and heres me thinking there were loads more nutters in Cumbria. Loving my race number though Oh the irony! My 50's were fairly flat aswell TH if you can call Yorkshire flat. Nothing compared to the ups in this thing tho. Cold wise we should be OK cos we will be running so fast we wont feel it!!! Ha Ha Wishful thinking
