Although I'm a bit uncomftable with the idea of a national trail been sponsored, Im trying to keep an open mind, that depends on the walk, tried to find out more on the web but, I couldnt find any obvious website or information. Surely if it's a national trail all of this information should be free and in the public domain like on the various national trail websites, or is it just available for people who buy the guide book? If this is the case the whole thing smacks of commercialism, I wonder what the current rate is for putting up a couple of plaques
Wasn't there a panorama programme on not so long ago alleging that all the sports drinks etc were all just a big con and there was no scientific basis for all the claims that were been made?
I always default to water rather than any thing else as you can do more with water such as have a brew, wash a wound you can't really get away with that if theres something in it. Diroalyte can't stand the stuff it I remember been given it after becoming dehydrated one day I threw it up faster than I could get it down my neck, switched to water and I was fine
I've got an osprey 38 and a Gordon 25 and out of the two the gordon gets much more use shops local bimbles as well as hill use, I could probably get away with the gordon 20, they are a great ronseal products at a reasonable price
I bought the osprey as a summer over night bag and it is a tad on the small side but it encourages you to ditch all the just in case stuff you end up carting along during the summer.
They don't even keep to the origional spirt of the modern olympics where it was. Amateur status and sportsman ship ruled , that's gone out now with many professional athletes earning she'd loads of cash and amateurs forced out.
Anyone remember Eddie the eagle, seen by us lesser mortals as the embodiment of the Olympic ideal, but seen as an embarrassment by officialdom who then changed the rules so it couldnt happen again
Total con job ,waste of cash and feeding the Olympic rip off merchants that's the IOC
Really interested in this jacket and would be interested in the review, hate putting on plastic waterproof then sweating, and don't like Parmo as I tend to run hot, wonder if this could be a viable alternative to both
