I just got back from a wild camping trip where I'd forgotton my deet. I got bit so many times I look like I've caught a disease and I couldn't help but think there must be some natural plants etc near by that would do the same trick. So was wondering if any of you knew of any natural ways to deter insects from making a meal of you in the british isles?
Hey Kev, do you think that holder would fit a bottle 650ml, much like a sigg? If not I'm going to order the one Hedley likes of ebay, I was all set to make something so blingy or not it will still look better and very cheap. Thks for the advice and links.
Hi all, just got back from a trip following the river Dee into the cairngorm mountains. Really got the chance to test out the granite gear crown and trailstar for the first time. Trailstar preformed brilliantly and any worries I had about using it soon disappeared although getting in and out can be a right royal pain with less than ideal ground conditions. The inner I got from oookstar also did its job well.
However i couldnt use the side pockets on the crown very well and wondered if anyone knew of a good hipbelt water pocket. thks in advance.
