Mick D. It did cross my mind when 'little man' chose it, but why should we have to qualify everything we say or do? I'm fed up with being 'on the run' from these people. 'Winterval' anybody?
Anyway, I phoned the BNP yesterday afternoon with a query about handing over personal details, as I didn't want to end up a virtual rain-forest on my door mat. Seems they ask those who send cheques to add a cover letter with their name and address, but apparently, that's a requirement with donations of over a certain amount and I'll be fine just sending it without a note. I could have paid online, but the minimum is £10 and money's a bit tight.
So, that's it then. Money sent. Felt a tad weird if I'm to be totally honest. 8/
Gonna scoot. Got a shit-load of work to get started on. And 'Mick fae Dundee', I'll keep looking in. Cheers mate.
I'm bringing my part in this to a close. I just can't afford the head-space. Neither can I afford the money, but I'm going to donate £5 to the BNP later today on behalf of 'weevil'. With luck, he might also choose to put his money where his mouth is and donate a similar amount to 'Searchlight', or any other organization of his choosing. Let's face it, it's all too easy to sit behind the safety of a keyboard spouting wisdom to the world.
I surprised myself with my reaction to him. Kicking myself actually. I think what first got to me was the casual arrogance in his response and his absolute self-belief that ''weevil' is right'! But then, going by the mistakes in his pm (above), perhaps he was just in a rush to gratify himself when he was 'cracking one off' over my Golly. Sadly, people like him are all too common.
Gonna look in again this evening to pay any dues I have coming. After that it's 'happy trails', cos I'm offski.
