I did the TMB the year before last in a comfortable old pair of Asolo Fugitives. They were so worn in that the sole finally came loose on one of them on the final day and I chucked them in the bit to save carrying them home. The route is all good tracks even where it goes higher so really does not require

Last year I did 10 days walking in the Atlas including two 4000m summits in the Asolo Matrix Flames that I'd bought to replace the fugitives. That was at the end of September and there was a bit of snow up high.

On neither trip did I wish that I'd taken my Scarpa Mantas.

If you've got comfortable boots that aren't immanently going to fall apart then they'll be fine.

The internet isn't really like that.

I suppose technically there is a "central site" to report them to. It's called a police station which is where you're meant to report all crimes, but there's no point as they'd not do anything about it.

Are you by any chance design students who are hoping to gather evidence that there is a desire for hammocks which may be erected inside tents?

Joe, I'd be tempted to skip the Vango bags to start with and just get the ascents. There's only a 230g weight difference assuming you're going to use the vango stuffsack.

You could put the money you save towards a Superlite Voyager or similar Tera Nova tent giving you significant weight savings over the Vango tents that are the only other sensible options in Go.

You might want to be careful about being too frank about some of your employer's wares on here.
