Try the visitors centre at Grisdale Forest (Lake District), they have routes marked in colours in order of diffculty and distance, there are also similar facilities at Winlatter Pass visitor's centre where there is a decent play area for the kids also.

Late in the day I know, but worms are a good source of protein. However it is hard digging them up in winter because they burrow deep.

I know a lot guys who never do anything. All things thus being considerd, does this then put them in the category of being the biggest pullers around?

Yes I think this is good advice, a friend of mine has suggested taking 2 wires and baring the copper at each end of the wires.
Then sticking two end into the Semtex whilst leaving the other two end dangling loose in my rucksack, and for good measure, to throw in a couple of spare batteries in also. This to be on the safe side so to speak.
I was a bit concerned the wire may get a bit tangled with the weather locks my waterproofs though,
He claimed however under certain conditions this technique may speed up my pace a bit. Is this true ?

I thought this film was great, in fact I was so impressed, I have started taking evil looking canisters up on the hills strapped to the outside of my rucksack.
As a beginner, just to get a feel for explosive Mountaineering, I thought I might fill them up with Gliscerene to start off with. Do you think this is wise ?
