Is all this kit that's recommended for overnight/camping etc?. It's the West Highland Way,not Everest walk in. How many changes of clothes and socks do you need?.A hat and waterproofs that's about it unless it's a winter walk. People drive to it and park up for a Sunday walk.

I think boots for CWT. I had situations were a shoe would be pulled off. Fishing and camping at Sandwood Bay makes up for all the discomfort. The journey is certainly better than the finish. Cheers.
