Have just bought an SL3 outer and have an order in with Oookworks/Mrs Nesbit for an inner and cannot wait to use this on my next trip.

Quick question - I have noticed in a you tube video by Bob at BPL that he uses a motorcycle stand plate to stop the stock pole sinking into the ground which seems a really good idea.

Ultimately I intend to migrate to some leki poles but want to use the stock pole first so wondered if you guys had ever had a problem with the pole sinking and, if so, what you use to stop it.

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has got an Alpkit Zhota yet and formed any opinions on it?

Looks ideal for what I want - large bombproof tent for 2 + dog and plenty of sitting up space for long periods when winter camping (base).

Haven't found any reviews as yet so any info/comments much appreciated.
