Hi, Sorry to butt in on this thread but my question is related to Corsica, I'm doing the Mare a Mare at the end of may 2012 and finding any information on this route is really hard, Paddy you seem to know a bit any pointers? |

Thanks, some good advice, think that it was overheating that caused them, think I'll invest in some good socks and a roll of zinc tape, maybe some compeed too |

Wished I had read this thread a few weeks back, went on a 26 mile trek, never had a blister worries before that but really suffered this time, had large blisters on the balls of both feet and on the right heal which I think was down to overheating, its now two weeks on and after doing a few short walks they still feel quite tender, I'm guessing Zinc Tape or Compeed may help but what is the best after care? I'm doing the Yorkshire three peaks in 4 weeks time so really hoping they heal by then |

A very good app if you get signal is whattsapp, a message service which works from an email account, as long as the person the other end has this app message, send photos or video all free from anywhere around the world.
Just a few well used apps
And to top it all just got a Veho Pepple to recharge phone so can use apps when ever and not worry about draining battery.
Hope these help you

| Hi, I just got back from a weekend on Pen y Fan, we camped out just off the car park in the woods about 200 meters from the path leading up to Corn Du.( its the second car park as you drive out of the town, the one with the chuck wagon, sorry do not know the name of the lay by) there is a steam that runs between the woods and the start of the hills, great spot, mind you there have been some campers there which do not know how to clear up after them. anyhow a great spot, didn't see or hear a sole over night. a top weekend |
