Hi folks.

I'm a youth worker - thinking of doing Mountain Leadership training so I can take youth groups out on the hills.

I've climbed the three peaks, and the welsh 3000s a few times (once in a storm). I've done a couple of basic winter walks, grade1 & 2 solo scrambling, and some (mainly indoor) climbing & bouldering. I also have done some basic wild camping.

What does Mountain Leadership training look like - am I biting off more than I can chew?

 Cheers

t.

Thanks Ron - you're a legend (no pun intended) - that's really helpful!

Hi folks.

Whenever I do overnighters I tend to stick the car at the base of Tryfan & pitch a 'dummy' tent in the campsite.

Where do you overnight park when your wild camping? Particulalry for the Carneed range and the Ogwen Valley area.

 Thanks!

t.
