James

The river Lathkill is rather like the Manifold on the western side of the Dove in that it often "disappears". This is due to the limestone geology of the area. However, I am unable to shed any light on the reeds - maybe you were lucky enough to catch it with water in!

You could always try downloading yahoo's anti pop-up companion bar. Worth a try!

Hi there. I've been here bfore but failed to get off my bum last year to do enough outdoor activity. I'm looking for some like minded outdoories near the West Midlands for days out and weekends away. Hillwalking plus and I'd prefer to expand my horizons and push the bounds of my limits a bit. Any interest, let me know on here or drop me a line to r.o.rowlands@bham.ac.uk

Does anyone know of places to park a car for a number of days, preferably at the Carlisle end of the Hadrian's Wall.

Cheers

Rob
