yeah i started off with a heavy back pack, think i should of started off light! im just waiting for my legs to recover then ill be off walking again  does it matter if you walk on the flat as there's no hill where i live, but go further a field? |

| did a 11 mile walk yesterday, first time ive walked in a long while, an paying the price today! i feel like a old man! need to get back into walking long distances first, an that was over flat ground any tips for training? |

so your the ray meres of the uk! would you recomend taking a compas or are the maps good enough to read from? yeah i bet its a real task walking in the snow, an the views of a snowy landscape is fantastic! but not for camping! is there a certain day you would start on, the start of the week or the end or does it not matter? im thinking of doing it in the middle of may, and finishing sometime in june, or would it be better to go in june to july? |
