I've not seen a Cuckoo before either. You learn something new every day.

I'm bloody annoyed- it's a glorious day here, and all the forecasters were predicting a poor day with a lot of low cloud, all the way over to Aviemore. So, I didn't go for a day off today. A look at the webcams on Cairngorm Mountain's website reveals sunshine and clouds- top mostly clear Feckin weather forecasters. I was going to try and get monday off, as the forecasts are reasonable-  and got landed with more exam sh*te instead. So much for Admin doing all exam related work under the new structure.

I have a feeling my mate's last Munro is going to be a major disaster for me. Spannered at every turn. Next chance next bank holiday weekend- walk on the monday. Do I book now and take a chance or wait and see what the weather does. I have no idea.......

Is it me? or are they really out to get me?

..should we ask Skip about his experiences in the Outback...

Probably best not or the senile old bastard will just drone on and on and on ....
