Yes they do. Go to the regular sleeping bag page  and check under 'sleeping bag extras'. If you wanted the quilt modified I'm sure they would (for  a price).

Spent 6 days at Easter hoofing a big pack around the west coast of Jura in a pair of Roclite 335. Some of the terrain is pretty rough (no neat ready made paths). I had no problems and the lighter weight was brilliant.

I also have a pair of Roclite 286 which have become my default boots for all of my other off road walking.

I will be keeping my heavy 'traditional' boots for serious winter/snow and ice conditions only.

I have wide feet and the boots have lots of space across the forefoot, but the heel fits well and thats what holds the boot in place. They are very comfortable on me, and whilst at the end of the day my feet feel like they have had a 'work out' I think that has probably helped strengthened my feet too.

My only reservation is that they are going to wear out a lot faster than heavier traditional boots. I'm happy to live with that trade off.

Hi Maskedmaverick, what size are you?

My husband has a pair of Meindle Borneo size 11UK/45 EU sitting unwanted. He wore them for a few trips before realising they don't suit his feet/ankles. So some wear but not much, and plenty of tread left. They need a new home. Post me if you are interested.

The hitch idea is a good one. As a single female I was wary of hitching when i first started, but actually it's fine, and the single female bit is an advantage -folks are far more likely to offer a lift.
