I went for a job interview last week. The interviewer asked me what my worst fault was. I replied 'we'll, some people say I'm too honest!'. 'I can't see why being honest is a he replied.

'i couldn't give a shit what you think, you fat sod' I said.

I did my dream job for 6 years more or less, and loved it. Countryside Ranger - fantastic job. Pity it seems to be about as high on Local Authority priorities list as, well, erm nothing else. I jumped into another conservation related field, but more office based and now I'm not really doing anything related. Do I regret leaving my dream job? Yes, but it was unrealistic to stay given the low pay and insecurity. I'd love to give it another go with one of the National Parks or the National Trust.

Garmin GPSmap 62s. For me. Robust and a big enough screen to be able to see what you need to. Tried touch screens and don't like em. Buttons every time.

Off at a slight tangent, but when I worked in an outdoorsy sort of job, we used to keep the out of date fak stuff for pet first aid.

Ok, back on topic then....
