I was getting bother with sore feet so bought sorbothane insoles... I found that they raised my heel too far in the boot and gave me blisters. 

Just throwing  my spaniard in the works 

I wear my wife's precip sometimes, quite like it! Pit zips again a bonus decent jacket for the money, but not sure how breathable they are... Get the feeling it could get sweaty in there if you're very active 

I'm a wee shortarse at 5ft 9, but I spent 2 nights in a laser and got rid... Far too claustrophobic for me with my face an inch off the inner, and my feet the same (wet bag at the feet through condensation from me moving through the night). 

 I know these tents are longer internally, but the tent shape is definitely something to consider! 

Just to add another tent for the mix, have a look at the Ferrino Lightent 2. Might look odd, but could work well given your length. Obviously couldn't pitch it on the top of a mountain, but good enough for low level or semi sheltered spots (I have the 1 man version)

Aye that bugs me (slightly!) about my jacket's hood... Keep meaning to put a bit of wire in, but never get round to it. Would be perfect otherwise! 

I don't have one, but have lots of patagonia and it really is good gear. 

I see it has pit zips which would swing it for  me though the hood peak looks a bit wee in the photos I looked at. 

Also like the roll away hood too
