Hi all, I have a dilema and would appreciate a little help if possible...

My wife and I would like to celebrate our wedding anniversay by wild camping somewhere relatively high in the Lakes/Peaks/Snowdonia. I've done similar in the past albeit a few years ago however my wife has mobility issues (bad back & hips) so a trek into the wilds wouldn't really be a good idea!

What we'd like is a spot relatively remote to get the wild camp-feeling but within a couple of km of the road so she doesn't have to push too hard.

Just to nip things in the bud; yes, we have assessed her actual abilities, strengths and possible complications/problems and decided on looking for a happy medium (hence the request for advice).

I have been told about Seathwaite having some good spots but I don't know that area at all and am not too sure.

Anyway, any help/advice would be appreciated.
