Lasers flap around like crisp packets in the wind. I find it very disconcerting! That said I summit camp quite a lot of the time so I experience the wind far more! I think the more I hike the more I realise that a good nights sleep is worth carrying a heavier tent!

BTW I find 220cm okay but really you need 230cm if you are 6'4"

I'm 6'4" so been there done that!

The TN Voyager is definitely too short for me to share (like way too short), but I never considered it as a solo tent.

My 1 man is a TN Laser (the old 2 man version) and it has plenty of length. That said I rarely use it because of the difficulty pitching and the flapping in the wind.

I prefer to carry a TN Ultraquasar, I bought it as a 2 man, and use it regularly for that purpose, but now I like the space when I am on my own as well as the additional security.
