MW: Keen Targhee Mids. (Size 15)

Little else available in that size. Meindl have a few boots and shoes. Columbia have a few more, but I have found the EVA internal cushioning collapses and they become unwearable fairly soon.

I'm disappointed with my last two pairs of Targhees however. The first wore out rapidly because the lace loops wore through; and the fit at the heel seems to have changed for the worse on the latest, and they feel looser than I like.

'Big Tall Order' www.bigtallorder.co.uk usually have some lower spec (but still decent) waterproofs and things, although they seem only to have fatboys stuff in stock at the moment.

Third tip: PHD also do extra-long fittings.

6ft 10" tall.

Cioch & Hilltrek made to measure are actually no more expensive than quality 'off the peg' clothing. The Scandinavian brands that might fit are also near impossible to ever find in UK shops, whereas my experience with both Cioch & Hilltrek is that their customer service by phone & Internet is excellent, and the quality of the goods is just as good.

Second tip: Aiguille Alpine for backpacks. Will do extra long backs for no extra charge (although they do not mention this on their website).
