| About me: | I was lucky enough to spend about twelve years travelling and trekking abroad before returning to the UK in 2002 to teach. Holidays are shorter now, but I still manage to get away a lot.
I love longer walks and in recent years I have walked the GR54, AV1, Dogon plateau in Mali, Hoggars in Algeria, Altai, Sayan and Mt Elbrus in Russia
Favourite place at the moment is Oman - surprisingly hilly!
