About me:I was lucky enough to spend about twelve years travelling and trekking abroad before returning to the UK in 2002 to teach. Holidays are shorter now, but I still manage to get away a lot. I love longer walks and in recent years I have walked the GR54, AV1, Dogon plateau in Mali, Hoggars in Algeria, Altai, Sayan and Mt Elbrus in Russia Favourite place at the moment is Oman - surprisingly hilly! The photo is in Kyrgyzstan on a trek in the east to Khan Tengri BC
