Scafell Pike Web Cam Goes Live

Just a quicky to let you know that WasdaleWeb's new Scafell Pike streaming web cam has just gone online to complement the original Great Gable cam.

The new cam points straight up Brown Tongues at the highest mountain in England and is refreshed every five minutes, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Wasdale Web founder and OM member Guy Newbold tells us that he's still adjusting the camera, so over the next few days you can expect it to change view, zoom in or out, make cups of tea, trip over the dog and generally misbehave.

To see both the cams, check out the Wasdale Web Cam page. Note that we've artificially doctored the image on this page to make it look a bit more like summer ;-)
