More Vango Gear Up For Grabs

Gear news in association with
eVent Fabrics

When one pair of walking boots falls apart you buy another, and when one Vango competition ends, the next one sidles onto the OM competition page to take its place...

We've just rung the bell on the race to win a Vango Venom 225 sleeping bag and TBS Spirit Lite tent, both lightweight bits of kit up for grabs to celebrate Vango's first year as sponsors of the Original Mountain Marathon (formerly the KIMM).

It been a while now since the OMM participants untied their sweaty running shoes and settled down to a drink or two, so we reckon it's time we announced our competition winners. They are - drum roll -

Feorge Taylor, from Carnfoth, Lancashire
Erica Price, from Birmingham

Congratulations to both of you. We just hope you have some lightweight camping ventures lined up for the spring.

Vango TBS Spirit 200 plus Vango Venom 225 Sleeping Bag

Jumping into the gap is a new Vango competition with a different member of the tent family on offer. This time it's an Ultralite 200, which is even lighter and more minimalist than the TBS Spirit, weighing in at a mere 0.9kg. Yes, that means it's single skin, so it's not one for the most rugged wild camping trip you've got planned, but it should do the job in more generous conditions when weight's a real issue.

We have not one but three on offer - just visit the competition and register your details to go in the prize draw. You have to answer one simple question too, but without giving the game away, the answer might just be somewhere in this article:-)

Finally, it isn't too late to win tickets to Andy Kirkpatrick's Psychovertical Tour and it's never too late to win five pairs of Bridgedale Trekker socks, as we give them away every month in the gallery. There are a couple more competitions coming up soon too, so keep checking for the latest prizes. Good luck!
