Llanberis Film Fest Is Go

If you missed out on the Kendal Mountain Film Festival a few months back, don't despair, you can still catch the best of that event plus more at the 2002 Llanberis Mountain Film Festival on February 22-24 in, erm, Llanberis.

The Welsh Edge festival web site is still under construction, but already features the classic photo of Pete, of Pete's Eats - see the Pete's Eats web site while you're at it - by Ray Wood. The festival will take place at venues throughout Llanberis including The Electric Mountain, The Heights Hotel and The Beacon Climbing Wall.

Not only will it feature the best from Kendal, but new and old films from and about Snowdonia, many of which haven't been seen before. In addition there will be a programme of talks and slideshows including appearances by John Redhead and Paul Pritchard visiting from Tasmania where he now lives.

For more information you can e-mail, call 01286 650045 or 873603, or check the festival web site. There's also a credit card ticket reservation number on 01248 715849. There are also some basic details on the BMC site. See you there.
