Just a reminder that the first ever British Adventure Racing
Championshipsis building to a climax.
So far competitors have orienteered through the William Clough
Ellis village used as the set for cult TV series The Prisoner,
climbed Cadair Idris, dragged kayaks up a dry river bed (eh?
Ed) and ridden one of the UK's most technical mountain bike
trails at night.
Last night they were set to tackle a night abseil and a long
kayaking stage through the infamous rocks and tidal races of the
Menai Strait before running in for the grand finale at Caernarfon
Castle today.
At the time of writing, Team Lythgoe were still holding the lead,
with Team Wales less than an hour behind after three days of
racing.
That's as much as we know, but for live reports, photos,
