note down a few dates, cos the world's gone mountain film festival
mad with events in Kendal, Dundee and Fort William coming up as well
as an 'altitude' film season in Edinburgh.
Anyhow, here are the relevant dates and the links you need to work

20th Century silent movies up to Hollywood epics like Seven Years In
Tibet starring international boulder problem, Brad Pitt. You can see

Mountain film madness in Kendal for the umpteenth tear running is
almost upon us once more with a combination of mountain films, art,
photography, lectures and more in the heart of the Lake District. A
definite must see.

Scotland's west coast mountain capital gets its own mountain film
festival for next year which promises to be alternative to the
Nevisport caff when you're rained off the Ben... The programme is
still being put together and the web site isn't up yet, but there's a
mooted mountain art and photo exhibition, some of the winning films
from Banff and films offering a 'Scottish mountaineering
retrospective' as well as live speakers. Preliminary details at the
