Win A Unique Mountain Equipment Buff

Gear news in association with
eVent Fabrics

To celebrate the beginning of 2003, we've got together with Mountain Equipment and Buff to give you the chance to win one of five limited edition, Mountain Equipment-branded Buffs.

As worn by discerning supermodels
everywhere...

At this point you may be asking, erm, hey, what's a Buff? Simple, it's a tube of stretchy polyester microfiber material that you can wear in a variety of ingenious ways. The fabric's wind resistant, surprisingly strong - it'll stand a 150 kilo strain - is breathable and wicks well.

You can wear it as a hat, a balaclava, a neckwarmer, hairband or, if you must, a blind fold. It also fits neatly under a climbing or cycling helmet without compromising fit.

Buffs also be printed with any number of funky designs which is where Manchester-based mountain clothing and down equipment specialists Mountain Equipment come in.

To win a fabby, unique Mountain Equipment Buff, just answer this simple question (hint: you may find the answer on the ME web site) and e-mail it to us with the subject line 'Buff'.

Q: Which three professional outdoor organisations are supported by Mountain Equipment?

a.

BMG, BCU, RAC

b.

AMI, BAEML, BMG

c.

BCU, AMI, BMC

And that's it folks. Deadline for entries is Wednesday night and the editor's decision is utterly final.

When I clicked on Jon's name to email him the answer to the Buff competition, it came up with a picture of a geezer called Graham Marsden holding a pint of beer and it invited me to send mail to said Graham.
Have you had a head transplant, Jon?
