Berghaus has launched an Extrem Light microsite to highlight its
range of new ultra lightweight kit for this spring.
Extrem Light items range from New Paclite waterproof shells like
the feathery paclite Smock and matching Pant, through packs and
clothing - including one of our all time favourite base-layers - to
footwear.
The full range is in the shops now, but we've been using some
Extrem Light items since late last summer when it was presented to
the reputable outdoors press (and us) at a launch in the Lakes - see
article link at bottom of the page - and we're very impressed with
their overall performance.
We'll be bringing you full reviews of that kit over the next
couple of weeks, starting with that mad 270-gramme Paclite Smock next
Monday. But if you want a taster of what else is in the range, get

Light microsite. The rest of the Berghaus spring/summer 03 range is coming into the shops at the moment and full details should be on the main Berghaus site in the next couple of weeks.
There's also a very difficult competition there to win a new
