creeping hypocrisy of our cynical materialistic society? Or maybe you're just

Well, there's a TV company looking for people who are taking off abroad
for a specific reason rather than 'just travelling', to quote the
production company:
"They're a family of four, the parents are wondering what's next
and they decide to sail around the world. Or, they're a bunch of
friends in their late 20s/30s, they're all fed up and need an
adventure so decide to go cycling for six weeks."
Or maybe you've just battered your boss to death with a filing
cabinet, stapled his lifeless corpse to the company noticeboard and
are on the run from the police. At any rate, the company is offering
'basic support and financial help' in exchange for making you into a
small screen star, by following your preparations and trip.
