Outdoors Beer For Outdoor Show :-)

There's going to be proper northern mountain beer at the OS Outdoor Show in Birmingham.

The nice people at Lake District brewer Jennings is going to be rolling on down to the NEC with large quantities of their best-selling Cumberland Ale for an authentic outdoors taste.

It's the second year that Jennings have been to the show, last year - they tell us - visitors managed to outdrink supplies of Cumberland Ale over the weekend, so hopefully they'll be bringing even more this time around.

Head Brewer Peter Laws is going to be overseeing the Jennings stand - OU216 - and hosting hourly tastings of the beer - we reckon a few OMers will be more than interested in honing their ale palates...

You'll also be able to buy selected Jennings leisurewear and bottled ales. Best of all though, you'll be able to shut your eyes, take a deep swallow and imagine that you've just traversed High Street, scrambled up Pinnacle Ridge or ambled round the Fairfield Horseshoe on a fine summer's day (whatever that is).

More about Jennings at their web site where you can also order beer and clothing on line.
