Win A Signed Bonington Book

Gear news in association with
eVent Fabrics

Join the online Berghaus club cunningly dubbed 'Clubhaus' - geddit? - and you'll be automatically entered into a free draw every month from here to eternity, or until Berghaus decides to stop doing free draws anyway.

This month's prize is a signed copy of Chris Bonington's excellent 'Everest' book, which covers his various attempts on the very large mountain and is a fascinating read. What's more the lucky winner'll be able to flog it on e-Bay in 20 years time and make a huge profit, erm, maybe.

All you need to do to enter is visit the Berghaus web site and join up. As well as being entered for the monthly prize draw, you'll also get an early view of new products before they hit the shops, have the oppportunity to share your routes and pics with other Clubhaus members and get access to reports from the likes of Alan Hinkes, Chris Bonington and Leo Houlding.

Check the links to previous OM articles below for a review of the Everest book. And if Sir Chris's high altitude exploits leave you feeling inferior, remember, he can't navigate for toffees... Not that we told you that.
