Peak District Walking Festival For 2005

Gear news in association with
eVent Fabrics

If you can see past the looming pantechnicon of festive fun that is Christmas, that distant speck further up the road might just be the first Peak District Walking Festival hurtling towards you.

The programme's set to run for two weeks next spring from om April 16 to May 2 and will be spread right across the area from the Hiogh Peak, via the Derbyshire Dales through to Staffordshire's moorland.

There will be a huge spread of guided walks with local experts filling you in on the more arcane details of Peak life, history and geography and what's more, they won't all be above ground - some of the walks will take in local caverns and towns. Although towns are above ground, but hey.

You can pre-register now to receive your free festival walking guide at this page. Now get back to deckiong the halls with boughs of holly and other fascinating festive DIY tasks. Can you make decking from boughs of holly btw, sounds uncomfortable...
