Not As Pink As You Think...

Gear news in association with
eVent Fabrics

Remember the terrifying Brasher Colima GTX women's boot in a fetching bright pink that we told you about a couple of months back in this article? No? Well, here's a vivid visual reminder:

BEFORE ...

Well, apparently the boot's been selling like hotcakes, but the poor folk at Brasher HQ in geordie land have been inundated with concerned phone calls saying that the image of the boot in the original OM article was way too bright and that production boots are a more restrained, less garish hue of pink altogether.

Baaa humbug, we say. If you're going to do pink, then do it properly. Pinkness notwithstanding, we can confirm that the popularity of the boot is such that Brasher is considering a men's version for 2005. Watch this space... *

Here, hopefully, is what the boot looks like now :-)

... AFTER.

More Brasher information from their web site.

* Small print - we actually made that bit up, but hey, who wouldn't jump at the chance to tramp across the fells in a pair of size ten pink booties?
