Kennedy In Ben Nevis Shame...

By Jon

Just a quick Wednesday morning snippet that we found amusing - apparently despite coming from Fort William, Charles Kennedy has never climbed Ben Nevis...

"But that's the only thing that's in Fort William isn't it?" asked an incredulous Channel 5 interviewer according to the Guardian. How useless is that? Why else would you live in Fort William?

Actually we're going to stick up for the carrot-topped leader of disenfranchised political fence sitters everywhere. There are plenty of Sherpas living within sight of Everest and how many of them have ever climbed the world's highest mountain. See, it's not so unusual after all.
