GoGas In Receivership

Gear news in association with
eVent Fabrics

Stockport-based gas stove manufacturers GoGas has called in the receivers, but hope to find a buyer for the business.

The company was started two years ago by former EpiGas employees and produced some impressively effective products. In OUTDOORSmagic tests, GoGas burner technology consistently outperformed similar stoves from other manufacturers. One bright GoGas idea was a screw-on plastic converter which allowed non-resealable canisters to be used with stoves designed for threaded, resealable canisters another was the ability of their stoves to burn liquid gas in cold conditions.

It'll be a pity if the marque disappears from the outdoors after producing some promising cooking kit.
