Pod Bob's Christmas Message To The Nation :-)

Gear news in association with
eVent Fabrics

If you've limped into the brand, spanking new world of 21st Century pod-casting, then you may have stumbled across the digital delight that is the Backpacking Light podcast collection courtesy of Podcast Bob himself, the legendary Bob Cartwright.

Bob, who models his broacasting style on radio legends Smashy and Nicey - yay for Bachman Turner Overdrive - has been working his way slowly through the great and the good (and not so good) of the UK outdoors industry. Recent casts include the lovely Julie Greengrass, head designer at Montane, Mike Harding - some fella from Yorkshire - the guys from GoLite and photographer Colin Prior.

He also interviewed OM editor Jon Doran for some unfathomable reason, the least said about which, the better.

Anyway, the good news is that Smashy, sorry, Bob, has topped off the year with a 'Special Christmas Show' featuring an update from Munros in winter man Steve Perry and some inspiration from past guests including TGO's Cameron McNeish.

You can find the latest Podcast info at www.backpackinglight.co.uk or use iTunes podcast section and search for 'backpacking' to subscribe to the entire past catalogue.
