Michael Sayles' picture of The Storr still reigns over this month's gallery competition, so no change there. Still, it's time to take a look at this week's contenders, ranging from shots of arid North African mountains to crevasses in New Zealand's glaciers. Remember, everyone has a free 3MB of space on the OM gallery so make sure you upload your holiday snaps for other OMers to drool over:-)
Starting close to home, here's another Dartmoor shot from Elaine Tindal's Dartmoor Allsorts album. We featured her image of a carpet of bluebells in last week's gallery round-up, but this line of standing stones is pretty eye-catching as well. And as we said before, if you're into ponies, her album is definitely the place to be:-)

We don't get all that many photos from the Atlas Mountains, so Harley Stoddart's new Moroccan Mis-adventures album is particularly welcome. It's stacked full with images of the arid mountain range, along with a few oases, and a dab of architecture to round it all off...

We all know that glaciers can be pretty dangerous places, but in New Zealand they can be some of the best playgrounds as well. Simon McKone certainly looks to be enjoying himself in this ice cave in the Franz Josef glacier. There's obviously quite an OM contingent out there at the moment, as he's only an hour or so up the road from where Simon Tavner's stunning shot of Lake Matheson was taken, last week. You can see the rest of his photos in the New Zealand March 06 album, and hopefully there'll be more to come. The album covers glacier walking and canoeing so far, but we all know that trips to New Zealand tend to involve a selection of white water rafting, mountain biking, sky diving, and plenty of hiking, so we await updates:-)
