June's Bridgedale Winners

We've belatedly got round to announcing the winners of June's Photo of the Month competition and it's cloudskapes versus, erm, Elizabethan punishments competing for the hot spot this time around.

As you'd expect of an outdoors site, village green punishments beat picturesque skies any day, so this month's winner is officially Metric Kate, for the photo "that'll learn 'im" :-) The scene involves Matt C being "punished for one too many smutty comments," according to Metric Kate, although there are numerous other views in the associated forum thread about what's going on.

What's Matt C thinking? "Who said Roclites don't have enough ankle support?" "This is nothing special. Just stock footage." "Matt put his foot in it yet again." The choice is yours - depending on how much your sense of humour can take:-)

Kate wins three pairs of Bridgedale Trekkers for her photo - hopefully not for display in the local village stocks ...

Alan Bellis' second-placed photo has less caption competition value but plenty of picturesque value. He says the photo was "taken a week ago from Kinbreak bothy, Glen Kingie". Unfortunately, the clouds melted away before dusk, so he didn't get to snap the perfect photogenic sunset, but this pic isn't a bad substitute.

Alan also has dry comfy feet heading in his direction - or at least two pairs of Bridgedale Trekker socks to help keep his existing ones dry and comfy, which is just as good :-)

Congatulations to Kate and Alan. Remember, the Bridgedale photo competition is ongoing and five pairs of Bridgedale Trekker socks are up for grabs every month. To take part, just add your photo to the OM gallery and it will automatically be entered into the comp. The more votes it clocks up, the further along the road to comfy Trekker-clad feet you are. Good luck!
