Win A Jack Wolfskin Pack

By Susan

Jack Wolfskin Traverse PackEuropean manufacturers Jack Wolfskin have designed a new back system for their day packs, to help minimise soggy-back syndrome. Even better, they're now giving away one of the new models - the Traverse 36l pack, worth £70 - to a lucky OMer.

The main feature of the new back system, called Exit Air Technology, is a horizontal ventilation duct that runs through the sack to a vent on the outside, getting rid of the clammy warm air that inevitably builds up between your pack and your body as soon as you start working hard.

The company has combined this with more widespread features such as a vertical ventilation 'chimney' above the spine, and breathable foam padding, to keep sogginess even further at bay.

We haven't tried out the results yet but you could do so for yourself by entering the Jack Wolfskin competition here on OM - it doesn't take a moment, and the competition question is so easy it would insult the intelligence of, well, even of someone who doesn't like hiking:-)

Also, have a glance at our other competitions - there are a few tasty ones there at the moment, including the chance to win a waterproof digital camera. Hmmm, doesn't sound bad ...

Full details of the Jack Wolfskin range on their website.
