Our fantastic Advent
Calendar Competition has been rolling along nicely with some
brilliant outdoor prizes being revealed every day.
Normally of course what's behind the door is a surprise, I mean,
that's what advent calendars are about, right, but we're going to
make a special exception for Christmas Eve because we have a real
cracker of a prize to make one lucky OUTDOORSmagic member's Christmas
very special.
On Christmas Eve, we're giving away a Satmap Active 10 GPS
navigation unit worth £300 and a choice of National Park
Premium map packs, covering any UK National Park of your choice
in both 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 scale OS digital mapping worth
£100.

This isn't just any GPS. The Satmap Active 10 is, according to OM
routes editor Dave Mycroft, the best GPS out there. It's radically
different from its competitors because it's designed from the ground
up as an outdoors-specific unit, so it's robust, waterproof and has
exceptional battery life.
An OS Map On A Screen
Where it really stands out though, is that it's incredibly easy to
use. Effectively it's an OS map on a screen with a flashing red dot
showing your exact position and where you've been - genius.
You can see where you've been at a click of a button and enter in
advance, quickly and easily, the route you want to take without using
a computer. There's lots more besides and we'll have a full review
shortly, but trust us, this little box of tricks is brilliant. Loads
more info at www.satmap.com.
Enter Now!
Actually you can't enter now, at least not for the Christmas Eve
draw, you'll have to come back on Christmas Eve, but you can still
enter today's draw and the rest of the draws on a daily basis at the
Advent Calendar
Competition. Good luck :-)
