Gallery Round-Up - April 2008

It's almost May so it can only be a matter of time before the OM Gallery fills with images of sun-soaked fells and in fact - crosses fingers, touches wood, runs 15 times around a black dog anti-clockwise - there's almost of a hint of spring in some of the recent gallery uploads.

OM Routes Editor Dave Mycroft's been happy snapping again, these are from his mysteriously named Route 0001 album. What can it all mean? Well, all we can say is watch this space. But here for a taster is a shot of the Langdale Pikes from Esk Hause.

The gallery wouldn't be the gallery without more of Fossil Bluff's atmospheric images from Dartmoor in his Bits and Bobs album. This is Crow Tor complete with a moody sort of sky.

We don't get many image of Scandinavia on the gallery, so it's refreshing to see shots from Norway and Sweden by Alistair McCann - we'd take a wild punt and say he's into his ski mountaineering. This is Goksøyra & Eikesdalen, Norway. Others in his album.

Another Bits and Bobs album, this one from Richard G and if it's spring you want, here it is in the form of gambolling spring lambs. How do those sweet, bouncy things turn into fat, slobby sheep eh?

Last for now, but very definitely not least, Andrew Spink's album 'This Is England' is crammed full of rather lovely images from the Lakes that somehow resonate with the joy of being in the mountains - maybe it's the big smiles... But then who wouldn't smile in a place like this?

I was about to say that there's loads more where those came from and there are. Sally Eathorne for example and her Sally's Travels album, so here's a final gratuitous shot from Sally of a shimmering Ullswater.

That really is now for this week. Don't forget that all OMers have a free 3 MB of space to show off their outdoor images and there are more being added every day. Just check out the Latest Images page to see what's new and enjoy :-)
