Sofa So Good

Forget all that walking and running about to stay healthy, you're better off hitting the sofa if you want to live to a ripe old age.

That's pretty much the conclusion of a German health researcher who's just published 'On The Joy of Laziness', a study which purports to show that too much exercise can put your long term health at risk.

He's quoted on the Reuters site as saying: 'Research shows that people who run long distances into their 50s are using up energy they need for other purposes, they suffer memory loss. They risk premature senility.'

So that's all right then, put your feet up and live the rest of your life as a vegetable.
