Fresh from their unconvincing impersonation of adventure racers
during Channel 5's Eco Challenge coverage, the boys from On
The Hill magazine now have their sights set on the celebrity big
time.

BBC ONE's Tomorrow's World are filming a 45-minute special on the effects of
endurance on athletes' bodies, and Team The North Face - featuring
Steves Duffy and Watkins, AKA the editorial dept of OTH - have
managed to muscle in on the act.
The team spent Sunday filming various mental and physical
challenges at Sandhurst with fellow Adrenalin Rush entrants Team
Apex. The day culminated in a head-to-head on Sandhurst's legendary
assault course - the prize, a day's testing at the British Olympic
Medical Centre. In an incredibly close race TNF came from behind -
ooh, er, missus - to beat Apex by three seconds.
Yesterday, the team - completed by Keith Byrne and Susan Hunt -
were beasted into the ground by the Olympic lab boys to determine
their lactate thresholds, max heart rates and general fitness and
strength levels, in an attempt to see how science could improve their
performance at the Rush, which starts next Monday. The team head up
to Scotland this weekend, with the Tomorrow's World crew hot on their
heels.
The full episode of Tomorrow's World is due to air at 7pm on
August 15th on BBC ONE. In the mean time, stay tuned to OUTDOORSmagic to see how the team get on.
