Anyone can spin a good yarn but the best stories often come straight from the horse's mouth. There's nothing like hearing about an adventure from the person who actually experienced it first hand and
outdoors enthusiasts will soon have the chance to hear from a man with many tales to tell. Alan Hinkes will be holding a series of live shows in the UK this coming November/December.
As regular readers will know, Alan is only one summit off being the first Briton to climb all of the world’s 8,000 metre peaks following his summit of Dhaulagiri in May this year, and if successful will enter the history books as one of the most skilled and successful UK mountaineers ever.
He will be visiting 23 towns and cities throughout the UK with his “Live and Uncut” tour, talking about the highs and lows of his expedition to Dhaulagiri, the world’s seventh highest peak. He'll also talk about how it feels to be so close to making history and will show previously unseen footage from his latest expedition.
Alan is a highly entertaining speaker and his Live and Uncut tour promises a show not to be missed. Dates, times and ticket sources are as follows:

What are named in the article as venues are in fact the retailers.
For example: in Leeds, tickets are sold by Outdoors (the old Scout and Guide shop) but the venue is the auditorium at Trinity and All Saints College at Horsforth.
