Scottish lochs, Himalayan summits and sunny French sea cliffs ...
With summer preparing to pounce - we hope - it's time for another virtual tour of hiking destinations near and far, where you might just want to spend part of your summer holidays.
We'll begin close to home, in the UK’s newest county of Scotlandshire, where this snapshot of a waterfall in Glencoe looks rather enticing, despite the evidence of recent rain. A stormy Rannoch Moor and a nice black and white pic of Aonach Dubh are also highlights of the album, in case you're in dark and brooding mode.

If your budget's a little larger, you might be heading to the Himalaya in the autumn, when the trekking season starts again. Renjo La pass is in the Everest region and stands at over 5000m, so it's not a good place for anyone feeling short of breath, but fortunately cameras don't have that problem.

Back to home turf again, this scene can be spotted on route from Glen Nevis to Corrour, if you're lucky with the weather. It's a strong contender for 'most atmospheric photo of the month', followed closely by several more shots of Loch Ossian in the album, which is well worth a browse.

This little chap is a bit camera-shy so it's a surprise to find him in the OM gallery. He's in good company in the Dodging DIY album though, where he's joined by an equally unsociable stag, not to mention enough cracking landscapes to make you dodge the day job as well as DIY:-)

But it's all looking a bit snowy for May, so it's time to introduce some sunshine. Sea, sand, and sun-baked rock are the order of the day in the Calanques album. What more could you want apart from, perhaps, a bottle or three of French wine? Just don't mention the price of the Euro ...

And after that brief respite, we're back to winter, for a reminder of seasons past. If you like the ground under your feet to be white not green (or brown!) and you're already feeling nostalgic for February, there's plenty to keep you dreaming in the Favourite mountains. Alternatively, you might just be looking for a missing dog on a trigpoint ...

And finally, this month's mountain sunset award goes to Phil Dixon for this pic on Skiddaw. See his Dixmarra album for more life above the clouds - and a bit below it as well.
